Perched high above the city—on the 16th floor of the K8 building—Seid offers sweeping views of Stavanger and the fjord. But it’s not just the view that makes this place special. Inspired by ancient Norse “seid” magic, the restaurant brings together flame, folklore, and raw ingredients in a setting that feels both grounded and otherworldly.
Working at Seid means stepping right into the heart of it all—literally. Our open charcoal and wood grill is the centerpiece of the restaurant, where meat, seafood, and vegetables are cooked live, in front of our guests, over open flames.
